MAGIC OF ENGLISH

                       English language is a major access to the world. To prepare the 21st century learners for a dynamic future, Thai Returnees of AFS Association (TRAFS) incorporates with 30 primary-level school teachers from 21 provinces in different regions of Thailand to conduct a 12-week English Program called “TRAFS Magic of English”. The program integrated Phonics instruction with Multi-Media Learning Tool Kits to enhance young learners’ English literacy skills. Phonics, a method for teaching learners how to read and write and alphabetic language with may leave to the core literacy skills : vocabulary, spelling, comprehension, was systematically taught by experienced trainers. Integrated with Multi-Media Learning Tool Kits, TRAFS Magic of English classrooms may expedite the young learners’ learning of English, and access to this rapidly-involving world.

                     สมาคมนักเรียนเก่า เอ เอฟ เอส ประเทศไทย เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของภาษาอังกฤษจึงได้จัดทำโครงการ TRAFS Magic of English เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการสอนภาษาอังกฤษแบบ Phonicsโดยใช้เครื่องมือการสอนที่ออกแบบเป็นพิเศษ ให้กับคุณครูระดับประถมศึกษา 30 ท่าน จาก 21 จังหวัดทั่วประเทศ เข้าอบรมเป็นเวลา 12 สัปดาห์เนื่องจาก TRAFS เชื่อมั่นว่า Phonics เป็นเทคนิคการสอนที่จะช่วยพัฒนาทักษะการฟัง พูด อ่าน และเขียนภาษาอังกฤษให้กับเด็กนักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพในระยะเวลาอันสั้น และเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญที่จะทำให้เด็กไทยเข้าถึงความรู้ในโลกสมัยใหม่และสามารถแข่งขันนะในระดับสากลได้.
